Messages showing in queue count, but can't get at them

I have a queue on the service bus that has been working fine. Now, I have 200+ messages showing in the console, but none will come up in the message pump. I inserted a "peek" and it won't "see" any of these messages. My remote continues to queue messages and these new ones are processed fine. What I don't understand is the 219 that seem "stuck" in the queue. How do I look at these messages to see what they are? And, how would I delete them without deleting the queue itself?
