Hi!
Our company thinks about using Service Bus for Windows Server and my job now is to determine if Service Bus fits in our Server-Environment. In the MSDN-Documentation of Service Bus is written, that it will run on "Server 2008 R2 SP1 x64 or higher", which is not the problem. But we're still using SQL Server 2008, and it requires SQL Server 2008 R2 SP1 or higher.
My question now is, if we'll be faced with problems running Service Bus on Windows Server 2008 R2 and want to connect it to a SQL Server 2008 (not R2!) instance..?
Best Regards
Peter
