Service Bus for windows servers: 1 or 3 "supported" nodes: more or fewer supported?

Hi all,

I understand that current supported SBWS configurations are 1 and 3 nodes.  Are configurations with 2 and 4 or more servers expected to work?

Granting that fewer than 3 servers are not an HA solution, it is still desirable to see how the system handles processor load between multiple (2) nodes.

As for handling processor load, I understand that a given message container is only active on a single node at a time.  Therefore multiple message containers can be distributed among active nodes.  And of course, when I get to production (where I need HA), I want to be able to scale compute by adding additional nodes (3 and more).

So:  bottom line:  HA or not, can we assume things will at least function with 2 and 4 or more nodes?

Thanks!
